Role: Group Finance Manager
Reports to: Head of Financial Reporting
Location: Dubai

General Description
- Manage all Group internal and external financial records.
- Provide timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reporting.
- Oversee Group consolidation and general ledger accounting.
- Act as the technical accounting lead.
- Maintain and review tax compliance and records for South African and UK entities.
- Ensure the integrity of financial systems.
- Conduct timely financial analysis.
- Manage the financial reporting team.
Responsibilities
Financial reporting (internal and external):
- Provide accurate and timely group reports.
- Ensure compliance with Group reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Interpret and explain financial results and records of the group and subsidiaries.
- Provide full analysis of financial reporting results to shareholders.
- Perform monthly auditable group consolidation.
- Maintain a robust control environment and support new controls.
- Ensure compliance with external reporting requirements.
- Prepare and complete year-end Group consolidated statutory results and annual report under IFRS.
- Manage monthly management reporting cycle, including full analytical review of results.
- Prepare stakeholder reports and required financial information.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of books and records for all group entities.
- Liaise with third-party accounting parties.
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts and complete audit work.
- Maintain Group accounting policy/manual, incorporating structural changes and IFRS updates.
Support Group tax compliance and planning:
- Ensure deadlines are met accurately and on-time.
- Work with external tax consultants.
- Prepare and maintain group transfer pricing.
- Support tax planning and structuring for new projects.
- Ensure tax compliance within subsidiary teams.
- Review tax inputs used in project and development models.
Others
- Act as a subsidiary contact for financial reporting questions, technical accounting advice, and systems training management.
- Ensure all group companies have relevant and current financial records, policies, and procedures.
- Manage two financial reporting team members in London, including coaching and development.
- Act as the primary IFRS expert.
- Support business development activities, including reviewing accounting and tax treatment for various transactions.
- Handle ad hoc finance responsibilities.
- Review and manage Direct Delegates company ledgers.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant status (ACCA/ACMA/ACA or equivalent)
- Several years of post-qualification industry experience
- Appropriate experience in an accounting, consolidating, or reporting role
- Experience in financial and management accounting, current accounting practices, and methods
- Relevant advanced-level tax experience
- Previous experience working in a global company
