Proposal Manager

Main Purpose of Role

• Responsible for the coordination and optimization of all inputs and deliverables related to bid submissions for Renewable Energy (RE) tenders, including Solar, Wind, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Green Hydrogen (GH).
• Interface with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors and subcontractors.
• Support Senior Proposal Manager in tasks like Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) and project optimization.
• Responsible for maintaining a central database on preferred contractual terms, including cost items and frequently requested deliverables (e.g., tree removal, water treatment unit, special O&M activities like on-site grass maintenance).

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordination:

• Coordinate across interdepartmental teams, including knowledge transfer from specific teams, for technology and techno-commercial tools.
• Transfer knowledge to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) team.

2. Preferred Contractual Terms:

• Develop preferred contractual terms for technologies for both general and project-specific bid submissions.

3. Project Bid Proposals:

• Coordinate EPC and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) deliverables.
• Summarize requirements and project documents after filtering, and collect inputs from Business Development (BD) and Execution teams.
• Conduct quality and sanity checks on submissions.
• Optimize techno-commercial submissions with BD and provide inputs for financial modeling of projects.

4. Document Management:

• Ensure proper document management of inputs and deliverables to maintain professional standards.

5. Early Stage EPC and O&M Database Maintenance:

• Support the creation and maintenance of a central database for preferred contractual terms and technologies.
• Improve cost estimation tools with the Procurement Team.

6. Handover:

• Ensure a clear and well-documented handover of project-specific details with a focus on EPC and O&M to the Integration and Execution Teams.

Experience and Qualifications

• Academic degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in one of the Renewable Energy technologies.
• Well-developed intercultural skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external clients/partners.
• Systematic and proactive organizational approach with the ability to switch between detail-oriented and big-picture perspectives.
• Technical understanding of at least one RE technology (Solar, Wind, BESS) and familiarity with procurement, construction, and logistics for investment projects.
• Advanced stakeholder and team management skills.
